The Queen of Hearts

Chapter eleven

It was the nicest feeling in the world to wake up on an impossibly soft bed, wrapped in strong arms. Madison couldn’t remember the last time he felt so relaxed, so comfortable, and he was happy to simply lay and drink in the moment.

Eventually, Zach shifted behind him, pressing a soft kiss on his neck.

“Morning,” he said with a yawn, glancing across to the clock on the nightstand.

“Damn…gotta get up in five minutes. I just want to lie here with you all day.”

Madison smiled softly, shifting to lie on his back so he could pull the man down for a kiss.

“Work?” he asked finally and Zach nodded.

“Yeah, I’ll drop you home on the way.”

They lay in bed together until the alarm went off and Zach got up with a sigh to turn it off.

“Fancy a shower?” he asked as Madison slid off the bed, pulling off the robe and dropping it onto the floor so he stood completely naked. The blond trailed his eyes along the slender body, his cock beginning to harden suddenly.

He moved forward and pulled Madison’s body to his own firmly, hand sliding down the other’s back before he grasped a soft yet toned buttock firmly. He then bent down to press a kiss to Madison’s lips as the fingers of his other hand curled around the boy’s other buttock.

“God…shower, now,” he demanded when he pulled back and Madison just smiled.

“Lead the way.”

It turned out to be the best shower either of them had ever had.

Madison had been pressed against the wall as Zach got to his knees, sliding his lips around the boy’s cock. The pants and moans he was rewarded with and the sight of Madison’s head thrown back with his eyes closed in pleasure had been more than enough for him. He had climaxed with his hand pumping himself quickly, his lips still pleasuring the boy.

After the shower, Zach had found Madison’s clothes, giving them back to him freshly washed and dried. When they had both dressed, he then made breakfast, toast with butter and jam, but the boy barely ate anything.

“Are you going back to work tonight?” Zach asked as they sat and drank coffee after breakfast.

“Yeah.”

The blond frowned. “How can you go back after what happened?”

“I have to.”

The words made him feel angry. He hated that he couldn’t stop Madison going back to the job he hated, where there was the possibility that he could get raped again.

“I don’t want you to go.”

This time it was Madison’s turn to frown.

“It’s not that simple. I can’t just quit…Maddox would find me…and he’d probably hurt Rob. You don’t have to be in my situation, you wouldn’t understand.”

“No, I don’t understand,” Zach countered, crossing the kitchen to take Madison’s face in his hands. “I want to understand, I want you to tell me, Madison.”

“I can’t,” the boy whispered, “I wish I could, but I can’t.”

Zach sighed, releasing Madison and turning away.

“We should get going.”

It was twenty minutes later when the car pulled up outside Madison’s home. Zach turned to the boy, watching his sad expression with a sigh.

“What’s wrong?” he asked, reaching across the car to pull the other against his chest.

“Just sad that it’s over is all.”

The blond was puzzled by the remark. Over? Did Madison think that that one night was all there would be between them, and nothing more?

“Over?”

Madison sighed.

“You said it yourself…it doesn’t work. How could someone like you be seen with someone like me? And I can’t stop working…no matter how much I want to, I can’t.”

Zach stroked his hair, gently brushing strands back from his face before he bent to place a kiss on the boy’s forehead.

“We’ll work it out. I don’t know how, but we will. I meant what I said, Madison, I am falling in love with you.”

He nuzzled at the boy’s hair until the other turned to face him and their lips met in a slow, sensual kiss. Madison had meant to take the opportunity to say goodbye, even after the night of passion they’d shared, but he found he couldn’t. All he could think about was how much he wanted to be with the man.

“I can’t let you go,” Zach whispered when the kiss was over, keeping the boy’s face between his hands. “I can’t lose you, not when I feel like this about you. I think about you so much…I can’t get the image of your face lost in pleasure out of my head.”

Madison responded by kissing the man once more, wrapping arms around his neck.

They were there for a good few minutes before the blond finally pulled back with a sigh.

“I have to go. Promise me I’ll see you again.”

Madison took a moment to think it over. He wanted nothing more than to see the man again, to go to his home and be with him, but there were so many things to come between them. He couldn’t imagine how Zach’s friends and peers would react when they found out he was in love with a prostitute, he didn’t want to be the one to bring the man down.

With a heavy pain in his chest, he climbed out of the car.

“I don’t know Zach. I’ll give you a call, okay?”

He didn’t glance back as he crossed the grass to his house, disappearing inside without a word.

Zach stayed, watching the door for some moments, hoping that the boy would turn around, run back to him and tell him that he loved him, that he couldn’t be without him, but it didn’t happen. He eventually drove off with pain in his heart.

When Madison entered the house, he closed the door and leant back against it, feeling the tears trailing down his face slowly. He couldn’t believe how hard it had been to say those words to the blond, when all he wanted to do was tell him yes. It seemed ridiculous, that they both wanted to be together, but they couldn’t because of what they did for work.

It would never work. They were doomed for separate lives, a cop and a prostitute.

Madison didn’t realise there was anyone else there until a hand squeezed his shoulder softly, and he raised his eyes to see Rob standing there with a concerned expression on his face.

“You okay, Maddy?” He asked, and the boy just nodded, raising his hand to wipe away tears. “We were worried when you didn’t come in last night. Did anything happen to you?”

Madison just moved past him, into the front room, where he collapsed onto the couch.

“I just spent the night with someone is all.”

Rob followed him, perching on the edge of the couch. Madison looked depressed, and he had a feeling it wasn’t over Jamie this time.

“I saw you kissing him in the car,” he said finally, “who is he?”

The dark haired boy’s eyes opened, focusing on his friend sitting there watching him with sad looking eyes. He reminded himself that Rob was his friend, that he cared about him…and he was all he had to talk to since Jamie was gone.

“He’s a cop. You remember that night I got picked up and taken to the station? He was the one who saw to me then.”

“A cop?”

Madison sighed. “I think I’m falling in love with him Rob. But it won’t work, it won’t ever work.”

The blond nodded, taking his friend’s hand and stroking the back of it gently. It was obvious that Madison was upset by the whole ordeal and he himself was surprised. The boy always seemed like the type to keep to himself, it was exceedingly hard to get him to open up, let alone love. Jamie was the only person that had ever seen that side of Madison, but now the boy was in love with a man he had only known for a short time. It was perplexing.

“I just don’t know what to do…Last night, that client that picked me up…he took me out to the middle of nowhere and raped me…” Rob’s blue eyes widened in shock, but Madison just raised a hand to get him to stay quiet. “I couldn’t think who else to call…so I called Zach, and he came to pick me up…he took me to his house. He didn’t want anything from me, Rob, nothing in return for the kindness he showed me…he didn’t even expect anything. When I was there, he told me he was falling in love with me…and that it hurt, because it was wrong, but I asked him why? I couldn’t think why it would be wrong, and we spent the night together. We didn’t have sex, but he touched me…and it felt good…so good. But all I could think about this morning, was how much it would ruin him to be with me, how much he would be ridiculed. And I don’t want him to have that for me…I’m nothing…I’m nobody. Why does he care so much about me?”

Rob was silent for a few moments after the long speech, but eventually he sighed, taking the boy’s hand once more.

“Madison. That’s not what matters. What you are…who you are. In love, people don’t care about that stuff. Think about it, would you love him if your situations were reversed?”

Madison could feel the tears spilling forth again and he stood up quickly, wiping his hand across his eyes.

“I can’t do it, Rob. I can’t ruin his life. Not for me…I’m not worth it.”

With that, he turned and left, running up the stairs to his room where he slammed the door and collapsed on the bed. He had so much thinking to do, but he wasn’t sure if he could make the decision.

Should he live his life alone, carry on as he was, or should he risk everything to be with Zach?

Madison had been dreaming. It was a wonderful, erotic dream where he lay back in a bed of flowers as naked as the day he was born. Zach stood over him, also naked, his body hard and glorious, watching him with lust filled eyes.

He dreamt that the man moved to straddle his hips, leaning down to press a hot and passionate kiss to his lips. Then firm hands encouraged him onto his front, where he lay in the flowers. He could almost smell the sweet scent.

Hands stroked his hips gently, then the backs of his thighs before Zach’s weight shifted on his legs and a hardness pressed into him.

The man was taking him, and it felt so good and so right and…

Madison jerked awake suddenly, managing to bang his head on the headboard in the process. The pain was intense but he realised that his cock was rigid in his pyjama pants, as a result of the erotic dream he had been having.

He lay for a few minutes, rubbing his head and hoping he wouldn’t get a bump while trying to decide if he wanted to masturbate or not. Eventually, he gave in and slipped his hand into his pants, wrapping it around his stiff cock.

It was Zach that he pictured behind closed eyelids as he began to stroke himself slowly. He pictured how the man had looked on his knees before him in the shower and that thought alone was almost enough to make him lose it.

He was torturing himself.

Madison hadn’t seen Zach for four days, since the man had dropped him off at his home. He was trying to keep away, to never see the man again, but it was getting harder and harder every day. He couldn’t stop thinking about the blond- about how much he wanted to be with him.

Madison was thinking about the man’s hand wrapped around his cock as he stroked himself, imagining that Zach was there with him, that he wasn’t alone. With that image in his mind, he threw back his head and moaned, suddenly releasing over his hand.

He didn’t move for a few moments, simply lay, his breathing heavy as he tried to collect himself. Eventually, he took a tissue from the night stand to clean himself off then slipped off his pyjamas, folding them sloppily before dropping them on the bed.

When he stepped out of the room naked, Alysia was standing in the hall, a basket of laundry in his hands. The blond gave him a sly grin as his eyes gravitated downwards.

“Enjoying yourself, were you?”

Madison wouldn’t usually be embarrassed about what he had been doing, but he could feel a blush creeping across his cheeks. He wasn’t quite sure why-perhaps he felt guilty about thinking about Zach while he stroked himself.

“Uh…yeah,” he finally replied, avoiding the blond’s eyes. Alysia just smiled and handed him a clean towel from the basket.

“Have a good shower, hun.”

Madison nodded, slipping into the bathroom, quite relieved to be on his own once more.
